The operational consequences of accidents or occurrences in the aviation will always remind us that we must be fully prepared for any event. The broad range of topics to consider and the significant flight information are for a large number off flight safety staff and external organizations very important.
Since 2000 Majornet has been working with each other in the field of flight data acquisition and transmission and now Majornet is the leading provider in Europe for hosting ground station from various manufacturers.
Why Hosting at Majornet?
The most important for our customers is our long experience and expertise. Many of our customers do not want the data to be hosted in non-European countries. For Majornet and thus also for the data of the customer the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply. Otherwise with us you get the best service, quality and cost control. We give you the best service and price / performance ratio.

Ground Station Hosting
FDM, FDA and FOQA are three terms that all mean the same: collecting and analyzing flight data. The anonymously collected data not only serve flight safety but also the improvement of processes and the maintenance of the aircraft. In order to ensure a faster transmission to the Flight Safety Department is carried out the transfer of the recorded data primarily wireless to a so-called "ground station". The data from there migrate transferred to the corresponding evaluation system. Previous manufacturer systems supported by Majornet are Teledyne, Sagem (SAFRAN) and Avionica. With Majornet there is no cloud or similar but every customer gets his own ground station.
Flight Data Transmission Services
Of course the data received from the ground station must be moved to the appropriate evaluation system. There are two ways in which the customer receives the flight data for the corresponding evaluation system. Either via PUSH in the customer's system or via PULL from our system. These two variants exist because some customers are not allowed to send data into their environment for security reasons. Ground station PUSH to customer or customer PULL from ground station: the way of the transfer determines the customer. Since Majornet knows no "standard way" almost all the individual wishes of the customer for the way of the data are realizable. Just contact us and we will find your way.
Infrastruktur Monitoring Tool (IMT)
The Infrastructure Monitoring Tool was born from a customer's request. The requirement was to know if and when a particular A/C or similar sent. If you have two or three different ground stations manufacturers or devices it will be harder to grasp it at a glance. Our IMT will remedy this situation. Here the customer sees the current transfers in real time (manufacturer dependent) and can also understand data transfers. Email notifications at non-stop of A/C after a certain period of time, reports and much more is possible. We adapt the tool to the wishes of our customers.

In addition to the three hardware and software manufacturers Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, Avionica Inc. and Safran Group we are still networking the flight data services in England.
Avionica
Since 2013 Majornet hosts Avionica Groundstation for avSYNCServer.
Safran
Since 2014, Majornet hosted Sagem WEFA Station for SAFRAN. The WEFA stands for Wireless Extension For ACMS.
Teledyne
Majornet has been working successfully with Teledyne since 2000 in this area. In addition to the older WQARs, Comm+ and LSE are also supported.

Every customer is different, every solution individually. However, it is always common to projects that we design IT with entrepreneurial vision: flexible, quality-conscious and comn-conscious. Here selected reference customers:
Condor Flugdienst

In July 1997, Marek Sieronski and Jochen Hörnig, both previously executives with Lufthansa AG, formed a company named Majornet Information Technologies in Stadtallendorf / Hessen. The basic plan was to build a firm centering on IT operation of high availability UNIX- and Linux-Systems, software development for resources planning and data visualization. A company focused on enterprise resource planning and control such as crew deployment planning, crew assignment, rostering, pairing construction and so on.
The company currently employed around 30 specialists and maintains its own data center. A large part of the staff works in the office at Frankfurt/Main Airport, close to customers to meet the Service Level Agreements requirements and to be able to support the customer in the IT operation of his environment.
Majornet is an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization.
